Terms and conditions for a Lancashire Ice Queen Party or Event.

  • Deposits must be paid in full within 7 days of confirmation email from Lancashire Ice Queen Events, otherwise your booking can not be reserved.

Your booking is only officially booked, once you have paid your deposit.

  • The final balance is due 48 hours prior to the party, payment can be made by BACs.
  • We understand that occasionally parties need to be cancelled. We are happy to allow you to reschedule the party as long as we have availability for your new date. We can hold your deposit for 12 months. If you want to completely cancel your booking then we would not refund your deposit.
  • We have never had to cancel a booking. If there was an issue with your booking from our end you would of course be refunded in full.
  • When you pay the deposit and receive your confirmation receipt this confirms Lancashire Ice Queen Events will provide an entertainer/s for your party or event. We will send you an email with confirmation of your character for the chosen time and date. Very occasionally through circumstances out of our control your chosen entertainer and character may become unavailable. We have a large team of entertainers so we will always find cover for your party. Our priority would be finding another character who can play the role you have booked. We have always managed to find cover for any party and in the event we cannot, we will pass on your booking details to a company we highly recommend.
  • In the event of extreme weather conditions & it is deemed unsafe to travel, we will offer a full refund or a rescheduled date.
  • For venues over 10miles there will be an additional charge for travel time and fuel. Charges are £2pm after 10miles from our HQ at PR7 2QP.
  • A maximum of 15 children are allowed per entertainer. If you do not notify us that you have over 15 for one entertainer or 30 children for two entertainers and they find there are more children on the day of the party, then you will be charged a £25. Unless an agreement has been made on booking.

Unfortunately they will find it extremely hard to entertainer over 15 children per entertainer and the party will be affected. Your entertainer may struggle to keep control of the party and be heard, and you won’t have the high standards that we normally produce.

  • Any outdoor activities which our entertainers take part in will be subject to dry weather conditions, if the weather becomes wet, the party/ event will either need to be moved indoors or to a suitably dry environment. Our entertainers can not perform on garden/grass areas, due to heeled shoes and ball gowns. Outside parties MUST be on patio areas.
  • If you can please ensure there is adequate space either at your home or venue, for our entertainers to set up their equipment, and that a power supply is available.
  • We have the right to change the format of our parties, including equipment used and games played, depending on venue/area, number of children.
  • All venues must be smoke and pet free.
  • Parking is required at the venue, if this is limited we need to be made aware of a suitable place to park, within close proximity to avoid delays. Clients are also responsible to pay any parking charges to the entertainers on the day.
  • Glitter Tattoos are available depending on number of children per entertainer and for 90minute or 2 hour party packages only. If there’s more children than specified, there may not be time to carry this out.
  • We do not wish to violate or infringe upon any copyright laws. We have costumes, characters, hairstyles, jewellery and props derived from our own imagination and DO NOT claim to be associated with any copyright or name brand character.
  • If there are other types of entertainment at your party or event, such as a face painter or bouncing castle, this must be brought to our attention prior to the party, so the entertainers are prepared with the right equipment to carry out their own work. If a piñata is going to be used as part of the party, it is up to the adult in charge of the party to supervise due to accidents that can occur.
  • The entertainers will finish at the end time of the package/ agreed finish time. They will then pack away before leaving.
  • Our entertainers are there to entertain the children, the supervision of the children must be up to the parents/guardians of the children. If a child’s parent/guardian leaves the party, it is up to the adult in charge of the party to supervise them.
  • If any sort of aggressive language or behaviour is shown to our entertainers,  they have the right to leave the party/event without issuing a refund.
